Ah! Portland! One of my true loves!
I love your green trees, your blue waters, and your moderate temperatures! Your new tram to OHSU kinda' creeps me out, but that's okay. I'm willing to tolerate it as long as I get to enjoy the rest of the skyline.
I wish I'd had a longer visit. I didn't get to see my friends Kelly or Emily as I'd hoped. :( Instead, I spent my time with the family. Corey came with me and met my brother and his family, plus my sister-in-law's family, and my aunt and uncle. My mom was also in town for a visit (my nephew was getting baptized). Quite the ZOO!
I was also able to meet Corey's sister. She lives near Hood River. She's really cool! She came into Portland so we could eat at Portland City Grill. We spent the evening chowing on a whole bunch of tapas and enjoying the view of the city.
And now I'm back in the freakin' freezing snowy weather. I will be back in Portland in a couple months. I can't stand being away!!!
